Cooking Class in Florence
         

On to the pasta...

we used two types of dough
to prepare our
tagliatelle...

...but only used
one of them for our
final dinner dish

Claudia rolled out
the pasta in her pasta
machine...

...and then sliced the
noodles from the pressed
dough...

...this is what we
cooked.

The noodles Claudia
cut from the dough made
with regular flour and
rolled with a pin were
throw-aways.

Moving quickly between
the cutting board
and the stove, Claudia
gave us a glimpse
of what it's like in a
real Italian kitchen.
 
Along with our mushroom
sauce, Claudia
kept the pots moving
that contained our chicken
and potatoes...

The final touch (above)
was adding the mushroom
sauce to our noodles.

 

...which looked good
