We had our drinks and snacks in the beach restraunt to warm up and then, in spite of the cold, walked the beach a bit. The kids, of course, were unfazed by the weather and enjoyed throwing stones in the water and running in the sand.

It was time to head to our next rendezvous, a small wooden "train" ride. Riding the short 1 mile or so on this 'train' turned out to be a real high- light for many of our trip team. 

The kids ultimately jumped from the enclosed cars and made a beeline for the open air cars, cold weather and all. They had a wonderful time singing and making noises on our ride to the carpark where our 'coach' waited to pick us up to move on to our next destination, our hotel in Bournemouth and, after getting settled into our rooms, dinner at Chez Nick's of authentic Fish 'n Chips.
